About onion: It belongs to the allium family. It is an edible bulb that has many medical properties of onions that have been recognized since ancient times when they were used to treat many ailments. The scientific name of onion is Allium cepa. It has a vibrant flavor. Onions are almost used in every dish. There are three colors in onions which make them different in looks and taste. The three different onions are yellow onions, white onions, red onions. It is a rich source of water, fiber, carbs, sulfur,  little amounts of fat, and protein.
